This website has mainly been created as a way to share my experiences of exploring derelict buildings with others. I realised I was taking hundreds of photos but only I was really getting to see them when they were stuck on my hard drive. I then came to the conclusion that a website would be the way forward.
Originally it started out with a facination with abandonment which evolved into an appreciation for photography itself as I explored more. As such, the pictures I took during my earlier explores are a little more rough. I hope this can be excused however.
Urban Exploration is a dangerous hobby. Some of these places hold many hazards that range from collapsing roofs and dodgy floors to asbestos and broken glass to name but a few. As such, precautions are taken whilst exploring and must only be undertaken by those that have a bit of common sense.
As a sidenote I would like to point out that Urban Explorations is NOT a crime. Although we may trespass, this is between ourselves and the land owner. In no way do I condone damage to anyone else's property and as such I will NOT cause damage to enter a site.
